About
Denise Mersinger is a Senior Vice President and Wealth Management Advisor who joined Bank of America in 1980, and moved to Merrill Lynch in 2001. She guides clients and designs a disciplined wealth management process guided by personalized goal oriented advice, working towards life priority goals based wealth planning. She holds the CFP® certification, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. In addition, she holds the CRPC designation, Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor and CPFA, Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor.
She graduated from University of Maryland with a Bachelor's degree in Finance. She celebrated her 37th wedding anniversary with her husband, Eric. They have three sons, and a beautiful granddaughter. Denise’s oldest son Stephen joined the practice in 2009.
She is very active in the community and serves on many non-profit Boards. She is Chairperson of NAF-National Academy Foundation Academy of Finance, active member of MBRT-MD Business Roundtable for Education speaker’s bureau, mentoring students, offering job shadow opportunities and mock interviews. She is on the Executive Leadership Team for American Heart Association's Go Red for Women, and Executive Board member for Suited to Succeed Inc. and co-founder of Dress for Success-Greater Baltimore. Denise was honored to be named as the Daily Record's 2013, 2015 and 2018 Maryland's Top 100 Women, and recently inducted into the 2018 Circle of Excellence and recognized in Paths of Excellence magazine.
